Water shortage in Namibia, about 30 % of the water supply of the City of Windhoek is to be guaranteed by the recycling of sewage water. By a multi-barrier system of process steps including membranes and ozonization, a sophisticated plant produces potable water from a blend of wastewater treatment effluent and surface water.
